Suspect in fleeing truck injures Golden officer, escapes into Denver
Sean Hanneman, 56, tried to escape deputies on foot before he was tackled and taken into custody by members of the office’s Special Response Team, authorities said in a social media post.
He was booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest, violating the terms of his parole and outstanding warrants.
Hanneman is a felon who is accused of absconding from state parole in 2021.
Dikembe Mutombo, the Hall of Fame basketball player who started his career with the Denver Nuggets, died at 58 from brain cancer, the NBA announced on Monday. Mutombo was drafted by the Nuggets and spent his first five seasons in Denver.
