The Snow Blog: Ski Towns Prep For End Of Season Celebrations

Where to Ski This Weekend Snow started to fall in Colorado's central northern mountains Wednesday and was expected to continue through Thursday night. Mountains along the Interstate 70 corridor are expecting to receive 5 inches, while northern mountains like Steamboat should see closer to 6 to 8 inches. Another couple inches might fall during the day Saturday night into Sunday, leaving Steamboat with 12 inches over five days and Vail, Breckenridge and other I-70 mountains with 10 inches. If conditions on Rabbit Ears Pass permit and you are willing to make the four-hour trek, definitely head to Routt County.
