Small Plane Crashes Near Hillsboro, Ore.

HILLSBORO, ORE. — Authorities say emergency workers were working to free two men from a small plane that crashed in a field west of Portland near Hillsboro. Authorities say the crash was reported around 4:20 p.m. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Chief Cassandra Ulven told the Oregonian/OregonLive that the men are conscious and will have to be cut out of the plane. At least one LifeFight helicopter was at the scene in case it was needed for transport to a hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
