Stories Related to Silverdome Demo Starts In 3 Weeks, On The Ground By January

In about three weeks, the true demolition of the Silverdome will be underway. That's according to Richard Adamo, president of the Adamo Group, the demolition company contracted by the Silverdome's owners, Triple Investment Group, to bring down the stadium. Environmental remediation is nearly complete on the site, with the crew tearing out transite asbestos panels that were used in a majority of the suites around the perimeter of the dome, along with completing universal waste removal.
