After months of tragedy and grief, Silsbee residents stood hand-in-hand on the field at Kirby Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night to mourn and heal. Since August, it's felt like one blow after the other, according to some. "The whole atmosphere was just saddened," said resident Joyce Square. "Everywhere you looked, it was just people walking around with their heads down." Tropical Storm Harvey destroyed 49 homes in Silsbee, according to City Manager DeeAnn Zimmerman.
