After an exhaustive search, ShowClix is packing its bags and moving Downtown. The online ticketing firm has been in 3,500 square feet on Walnut Street in Shadyside, but the company’s tremendous growth (it went from 17 people last summer to a current count of 32) has them overflowing. The new office will be more than 12,000 square feet, or the entire 13th floor, of Centre City Tower on Smithfield Street, said ShowClix President Lynsie Campbell in an email. With the added leg room, the company is also ramping up its hiring, with more than 20 positions immediately available in engineering, creative, sales and marketing...

Voters in the Sunshine State have narrowly rejected a proposal that would have enshrined abortion rights in the state’s constitution, a first since the fall of ‘Roe.’ A ballot measure in Florida to enshrine abortion rights has failed to secure the necessary votes, according to the Associated Press.
