Shields Hits Winner As Longwood Tops Columbia 70-69

NEW YORK (AP) — Chris Shields made a driving layup with six seconds left, and Longwood came back after trailing most of the game to defeat Columbia 70-69 on Saturday night. Mullins came away with a steal on the ensuing possession, and Longwood fouled, sending Alex Rosenberg to the free-throw line with 17 seconds remaining.
