Sheriff: Man Kills Self In Pontiac, Minutes After Fleeing Birmingham Police

A 22-year-old Holly Township man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Pontiac, about 20 minutes after it's believed he fled from Birmingham police in the early morning hours of May 27, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.A Pontiac resident called police at 3:07 a.m. after hearing a single gunshot and then seeing someone lying in the ground in front of a house in the 100 block of Prospect Street.
