Sheriff’s Academy Planned In Celina

CELINA — The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office will host a Citizen Academy in October that provides residents the opportunity to see an overview the office and how it differs from other law enforcement agencies. According to Sheriff Jeff Grey, this will be the fourth citizen’s academy. The first was hosted in 2013 and culminated in the graduation of 11 students. “We have had 44 students graduate from the academy since it was established.
