Shelby Township Uses Arbor Day To Kick Off Preserving A Better Place Campaign

Shelby Township and Macomb County officials and environmental advocates planted a tree at Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center on Arbor Day as part of a new "Preserving a Better Place" campaign in the township.The township's new Preserving a Better Place campaign is designed to raise awareness of the natural and cultural resources in the community and promote policies for responsible stewardship to protect assets like the township's tree canopy, which is the second-largest among all Macomb County communities.
