At least 40 people were killed, and dozens of others were injured, in a bus crash on Sunday in central Senegal, according to reports. The country’s president, Macky Sall, tweeted about the collision between two buses in Gniby, which is located about 47 miles southeast of Touba. "I am deeply saddened by the tragic road accident today in Gniby, causing 40 deaths and many serious injuries," an unofficial translation of the tweet read.
