Just before 8:30 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 18000 block of East Kepner Place in southeast Aurora, authorities said on X. A vehicle then fled the scene and crashed into an RTD light rail train near East Ellsworth Avenue and Sable Boulevard. Three men and one woman were transferred to the hospital with unknown injuries, police said. The RTD train will be out of service for an extended period of time, authorities said.
