For Second Year, Tomblin Vetoes 20-week Abortion Ban

By Phil Kabler As expected, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has vetoed a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks in West Virginia, citing constitutional concerns (HB2568). In his veto message, Tomblin writes, "As reflected in my voting record during my time in the Legislature, I believe there is no greater gift of love than the gift of life.
