A search by Sterling Heights and Shelby Township first responders for a body in the Clinton River was suspended late Saturday due to darkness.Police said a group of kayakers reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday they saw the body of an unknown white male in the river roughly in the 8600 block of Riverland, east of Van Dyke and north of 19 Mile Road.
