One of the greatest films ever made is one step closer for a remake. The Weinstein Company and Japanese-based Kurosawa Productions have hired British director Scott Mann to helm the remake of the Akira Kurosawa classic film “Seven Samurai.” The $60 million budgeted remake will be the contemporary version of the 1954 original film.
