From Schoharie Farm To Bronx School

Elementary school students from the Bronx traveled to the farm of commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Richard Ball, to harvest butternut squash that the students planted back in the spring at their school. The event supports the department's Farm to School program and tries to connect upstate farmers with downtown markets.
