I write in response to the news article posted on Dec. 1 by Associated Press reporter Kevin Freking, entitled “House expels New York Rep. George Santos. It’s just the sixth expulsion in the chamber’s history.” Santos should not have been permitted to be a member of Congress. As the writer noted, Santos is accused of fraud, embezzlement and lying about nearly every aspect of his life.
