It's not just Lyin' Rep. George Santos who finds himself buried in legal trouble, but his top aide was just indicted. Samuel Miele, a fundraiser for Santos's campaign, was indicted on Wednesday for allegedly impersonating House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's former chief of staff to raise money. USA Today reports: Miele was accused of using an email account bearing the name of the aide to send fraudulent fundraising solicitations to potential contributors for Santos around the span between August 2021 and December 2021, according to the indictment.
