Santa Fe treasurer candidate faces fraud charges The Santa Fe New Mexican reports (http://bit.ly/Hvn3Jm) that deputy treasurer Oliver Garcia and his daughter, Felicia Garcia, are accused of using reproductions of prepaid car wash tickets purchased by the treasurer's office to have their personal vehicles washed at an automotive business. A police report says that when a city police officer visited the Democratic candidate at work on March 30 to ask about the washes, Garcia initially stated he had no knowledge of the issue, but later told the officer that his daughter had purchased the coupons from a man in the business' parking lot.
