Nothing brought the issue of stormwater control to Royal Oak residents' attention like the historic rainstorm nearly four years ago that flooded thousands of basements and caused millions of dollars in damages in the city."After the big flood it became quite apparent that stormwater is an issue in the community and we need to address it," said James Krizan, assistant to the city manager.
