Route 7 Crash Sends State Trooper To Hospital

KENT — A one-car crash that closed Route 7 in both directions Thursday afternoon involved a state trooper, authorities said. The trooper was taken to Danbury Hospital, but the extent of his or her injuries was not immediately known. Police have not released the trooper’s identity. The accident took place about 1 p.m. No other details were immediately available.
