WASHINTON - State Police have shut down Route 109 ner the Morris line due to a tractor trailer truck that slammed into a tree along the side of the roadway. Police said the driver of the truck, whose name was not immediatley released, was sent to Waterbury Hosptial with non life threatening injuries.
