Former University of Denver hockey goalie, assistant coach and longtime administrator Ron Grahame has been named day-to-day athletic director, effective immediately, in an announcement that coincided with the June 30, 2018 retirement of current AD Peg Bradley-Doppes. Bradley-Doppes, whose title is vice chancellor for athletics and recreation, will shift her immediate focus to “high-end fundraising, coaching endowments, raising money for the Denver tennis park and other capital projects,” according to a release. “I am grateful to Peg for all that she has done for this university,” DU chancellor Rebecca Chopp said in a release.
