Brenton Doyle‘s glove remains the place where balls go to die in center field. The Rockies center fielder won his second straight National League Rawlings Gold Glove Award on Sunday following another prolific defensive season. He is the seventh Colorado player to win multiple Gold Gloves after becoming the first NL rookie outfielder to claim the honor last year. The 26-year-old is the first outfielder in NL history, and the third outfielder all-time, to win a Gold Glove in each of his first two seasons.
