Robert Downey Jr saw his career fly as Iron Man, but since leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind, the actor has seemingly made no plans to return to the role of Tony Stark. However, he has also been very quick to side-step any questions on the matter where possible, something he did with great skill recently when he avoided talking about a potential Iron Man 4 return by turning the conversation around to a jokey warning aimed at Tom Cruise.
