Texas announced that senior guard Kerwin Roach II had surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.The injury occured when Roach was at the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, last week. Roach tore his meniscus going through a non-contact drill. As of now, there is no timetable for when Roach will return to the basketball court, but he should be ready for the start of the 2018-19 season.Roach averaged 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game last season as a junior and is one of the Longhorns' best players.Texas opens the season against Eastern Illinois on Nov.
