Stories Related to Ridgefield Police Warn Drivers After Theft From Unlocked Cars

RIDGEFIELD — Police are urging residents to lock up their cars after a recent rash of thefts from vehicles in the Main Street area. In each case reported over the past week, the car was left unlocked and no forced entry was reported, police said. Authorities believe all incidents happened during the overnight hours. Police are also asking residents not to leave any valuable items in their cars. Anyone with information regarding the recent thefts is asked to call Ridgefield police at 203-438-6531.
