PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Gasoline prices in Rhode Island jumped another 7 cents in the past week, AAA Northeast says. That follows the previous week's 10-cent price hike.AAA attributes the increase to higher crude oil prices and stronger demand.“Crude oil prices topped 68 dollars a barrel today, rising 2.9 percent and hitting a 3-year high,” said Lloyd Albert, AAA Northeast senior vice president of public and government affairs.
