Restaurant Ratings Added To El Paso County Health Inspection Reports

A new restaurant rating system aims to show which El Paso County eateries most commonly risk getting their customers sick. The searchable database, which was released Monday by El Paso County Public Health, matches each restaurant inspection with a color-coded rating that signifies the likelihood that its violations could cause a foodborne illness. It marks the first time that the agency has rated restaurants, convenience stores and even school cafeterias after each inspection.
