By Betty O’Neill-RoderickSpecial to the Beacon JournalThere will not be a four-way stop at the intersection of Markley and Los Olas streets in Plain Township in spite of residents’ requests, township trustees learned at their meeting Tuesday.Road Superintendent Joe Iacino told the board that the county engineer conducted a traffic study of the intersection and concluded new stop signs are not warranted.The board also approved the payment of $25,558 to JD Striping Co.
