Officers are flocking to southwest Denver on Wednesday afternoon after gunfire was reported at the scene of a police operation. One police officer has been injured and taken to a hospital, according to the Denver Police Department’s Twitter account. The injury did not involve a gunshot wound, but the nature and extent of the officer’s injury is unknown.
