Repairs After Library Flooding Estimated To Cost $300k

LOWELL — Officials estimate it will cost about $300,000 to repair a Massachusetts library after a burst pipe dumped thousands of gallons of water into the building.The Pollard Memorial Library in Lowell remains closed after a pipe broke in early January. Library Director Victoria Woodley tells the Lowell Sun that it could reopen within a few weeks if repair work goes well.
