The Redskins put in a claim for former Denver Broncos strong safety Duke Ihenacho and were awarded him, two people with knowledge of the situation confirmed. A third-year pro out of San Jose State, Ihenacho didn’t survive Denver’s roster cuts on Saturday. He started 14 out of 15 games at strong safety last season, recording 73 tackles and three forced fumbles.
