Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump insisted that Donald Trump was "leading" the nation even though he is "not officially" president.
While speaking to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, Lara Trump said her father-in-law was "feeling great" about his last debate with President Joe Biden.
"You also heard whenever he was in Virginia at that campaign rally, him say to anyone out there who's considering doing anything, before I become president again, don't even try it," the RNC co-chair recalled.
"The fact that you have Donald Trump leading the country right now when he is not officially yet back in the White House speaks volumes to the American people and, I think, to the rest of the world," she continued.
"He is the leader we need right now and he is leading despite the fact Joe Biden is technically the president."
Lara Trump insisted there would be "a huge, huge win for Donald Trump come November 5th."

He, like tens of millions of Americans, watched the debate on Thursday night.
Fox News host Shannon Bream predicted that President Joe Biden would likely have a "huge win" if there were a second debate with former President Donald Trump.
Bream spoke to the hosts of Fox & Friends on Sunday about Biden's poor debate performance.
"And the Biden campaign has said repeatedly over the last couple of days, we are definitely showing up in September, but always kind of adding this line," she explained.
See, this is what happens when you elect Christofascists to positions of authority where they have little to no oversight. Gov. Kevin Stitt recently approved all of the "regulations put forward by Ryan Walters that included time for prayer in schools and expanded the state Education Department’s “foundational values” to acknowledge a “Creator” and the existence of good and evil," so I guess he now feels he can do whatever he wants, including disregarding Oklahoma's own statutes.
Ominously, all teachers are expected to adhere to the new policy.
CNN's Dana Bash asked Rep. Jim Clyburn about Joe Biden's (you knew this was coming) ability to lead the country following the debate between the President and the felon. Most of us were appalled to learn there would be no fact-checking during the debate. But the one guy who was happy about it was the serial-lying former President.
ABC News host Jonathan Karl clashed with political strategist and convicted criminal Steve Bannon about violence from Republicans.
During an interview that aired Sunday on ABC's This Week program, Bannon dismissed death threats received by Dr. Anthony Fauci after he called to put the doctor's head "on a pike."
"I'm not backing off my rhetoric," Bannon insisted.
"Are you concerned about those death threats, though?" Karl asked.
"Do you think I don't get death threats and have security all the time?" Bannon retorted.
