Recall Issued For 10,000 Cases Of Eggo Waffles

Kellogg Company recalled 10,000 cases of Eggo brand waffles Monday due to concerns of Listeria contamination. Ten-count packages of Kellogg's Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat waffles with the universal product codes 38000 and 40370 and recommended use-by dates of Nov. 21, 2017, and Nov. 22, 2017, are the items effected, according to a Monday news release from the company. The products were distributed to retailers in 25 states, including Colorado, the company said. As of Monday, no cases of the illness had been reported in connection with the recall, which was issued after routine lab tests identified the risk of contamination, according to the company.
