Rebels Hope To Build On Victory

By Parrish Alford Daily Journal OXFORD – Sometimes weird is good. Ole Miss breathed a sigh of relief with a much-needed win Tuesday when it rallied from four runs back to beat No. 17 Southern Miss 6-5 in 12 innings. That the Rebels scored the winning run when freshman pitcher Jason Barber – who reached when hit by a pitch – touched home on a wild pitch is of little consequence. Ole Miss had 11 hits, and four different players drove in a run.
