WALLACE By Parrish Alford Daily Journal OXFORD – No single Ole Miss player seemed more amped up to take on Mississippi State than defensive end C.J. Johnson, a Philadelphia native. And there was one single reason. Johnson was already done for the season with various injuries and watched the Egg Bowl from his home last year. He saw the 17-10 loss end when Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace fumbled into the end zone attempting to score a touchdown that could have sent the game to a second overtime. Video showed MSU defensive back Nickoe Whitley taunting Wallace after the fumble as the MSU celebration began. It’s a video clip that was shown to Ole Miss players repeatedly through the week leading to Saturday’s 31-17 win. “What sticks out in my mind when people bring up that game from last year is that clip.
