The GazetteMeteorologists are watching the Waldo Burn Scar today as rain is expected for most of Sunday. Rain and thunrderstorms are possible for the Colorado Springs area, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo. A high near 50 degrees is predicted, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms, according to the weather service. "Most likely scenario for #Waldo today is for rainfall rates to stay below flash flood thresholds," reads a NWS Pueblo tweet.
