Two children and two adults were killed when an off-road vehicle crashed into a pickup in Morgan County Wednesday afternoon, according to the State Patrol.
A 22-year-old man, 22-year-old woman, 2-year-old boy and 1-year-old baby were killed in the crash at the intersection of County Road C and County Road 31 about 3:30 p.m.
A driver who Denver police say hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday night has been arrested.

The pedestrian, a woman who has not been publicly identified, was struck around Speer Boulevard and Colfax Avenue at about 11:10 p.m., according to Denver police.
Victor Cedillo, 24, was arrested after the crash and is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide and fleeing the scene, police said.
Denver police did not provide additional information about the circumstances of the crash.

The 1,191-acre Oak Ridge wildfire burning on U. S. Forest Service land in Pueblo County was 25% contained Thursday, fire officials said.

The 67-year-old pilot who died when his plane crashed in Steamboat Springs last month was attempting to make an emergency landing after one of the plane’s engines failed, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board.
Pilot Dan Dunn and his passenger, Jessica Melton, 42, were killed in the June 17 crash when the Cessna 421 spiraled into the ground just short of the Steamboat Springs runway and caught fire.
The plane crashed into a mobile home park, and the fire it sparked engulfed two homes and several outbuildings, officials have said.

Around 134 million people in the U. S. are under alerts as an “extremely dangerous and record-breaking” heat wave broils much of the country, according to the National Weather Service.
Regions that may see temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) or much higher into the triple digits (well above 37 degrees Celsius) include nearly all of the West Coast, the southern Plains, most of the lower Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley and parts of Florida, said Bob Oravec, a lead forecaster with the National Weather Service.
The Pacific Northwest will see the mercury rising later in the weekend.
