The new Quincy branch of the South Shore YMCA hopes to make people New Year’s fitness resolutions easier to keep. The state-of-the-art facility opened Dec. 23, more than three months after the old Y had to be closed. It has a vast array of equipment, programs and ways to motivate those for whom working out doesn’t come naturally.
