State Rep. Four Price, R-Amarillo, has been awarded the Charley H. Shannon Advocate of Justice Award from the Texas chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Past winners of the award include former State Rep. John Davis (R-Houston), Judge Polly Jackson Spencer and the Dallas Police Department. Price is chair of the Texas House of Representatives’ select Mental Health Committee, which examines mental services being offered around the state. He is also cochair of the house’s Health and Human Services committee. read more
