A Portland arts committee has given the go-ahead for a temporary memorial to the six victims of the Noyes Street fire that was opposed by some residents in the neighborhood. The Temporary Art Review Panel ruled late Friday that the “Stars of Light” could be installed in Longfellow Park in time for the Nov.
