After more than two decades of service, Port Corpus Christi Executive Director John LaRue is retiring and a successor has already been chosen. Port of Corpus Christi Authority Chairman Charlie Zahn made the announcement at the State of the Port event on Thursday. Sean Strawbridge, the port’s deputy executive director and chief operating officer, will take over as chief executive officer on Jan.
