Port Arthur Police Union Fights For Pay Raise

Without a negotiated agreement with the city, union members have been denied a pay raise that went into effect Oct. 1 for other city employees. The agreement expired at the end of September, but union officials say a one-year provision to keep its terms in effect through further negotiations was the true intent of both parties.
