Musk, who has nearly 200 million followers on the social media site he bought for $44 billion in 2022, has increasingly embraced conservative ideologies in recent years and endorsed Trump for president. While he has removed posts in the past, Musk has also kept up and even doubled down on other such inflammatory comments.

MIAMI GARDENS — I think quarterback Skylar Thompson can do the job as the Miami Dolphins’ temporary starter. I don’t simply say that because I’m the guy that said one month ago he’s not worried about the Dolphins’ backup quarterback situation. I say I think Thompson can do the job because I trust Dolphins coaches and management on this one. I trust that coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier wouldn’t go through an entire offseason, and an entire training camp, during which they had a big backup quarterback battle between Thompson and Mike White, only to determine Thompson is inadequate two weeks into the season. Also, I trust what I saw during training camp. Thompson, who has improved since last taking the field as a starter in 2022, was better than White. I think the Dolphins (1-1) should have kept White instead of releasing him, but that’s another discussion. In short, I’m trusting Thompson, and I’m trusting the Dolphins.
