Stories Related to Police: Violent Domestic Dispute, Dui Put Stamford Kid At Risk

STAMFORD - The boyfriend of a Stamford woman has been was arrested after allegedly striking, pushing, strangulating and threatening to kill his girlfriend by grabbing a knife. This all took place in the presence of the 10-year-old child, according to Stamford police. The incident happened on Saturday when police responded to a domestic incident on the east side of town where the suspect - identified as David Perez - was intoxicated and getting ready to flee in his vehicle. “The victim called and relayed that her 38-year-old boyfriend was driving from New York to Connecticut with her 10-year-old son in the vehicle,” Stamford police said in a release.
