STAMFORD-A weeks long investigation into a city man’s pot dealing business led police on Friday to seize well over two and one-half pounds of marijuana and arrest a Fairfield man. The operation began on Saturday afternoon when officers of the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad decided it was time to exercise their search and seizure warrants against Marquail Bates, 28, of Seaton Road. The driver of the car, Erik Marrero, 20, of Fairfield, was charged with possession of a kilo of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
