SPOKANE — Spokane police are searching for a car that struck a pedestrian Sunday afternoon on the lower South Hill. Police were called to Sixth Avenue and Bishop Court, two blocks west of Shriners Hospital for Children, about 4 p.m. where the pedestrian had been hit, Spokane police said in a news release. Witnesses told officers that a dark, smaller, four-door sedan with an Idaho license plate struck the pedestrian and fled the scene.
