A man got away with cash after he robbed a Colorado Springs 7-Eleven on Tuesday night, police said. The man was armed with a weapon when he demanded cash from a clerk at the convienience store at 331 S. Hancock Ave. near Prospect Lake at Memorial Park, police said. After taking the money, he left and got into a getaway car outside of the business. Police did not identify what kind of weapon used in the robbery, which was reported about 10:30 p.m. The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black boots and a black baseball hat with gold lettering.
