ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Albany say they're investigating the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man over the weekend. Officials say officers responding to a report of shots fired around 4:40 a.m. Sunday found a man who had been shot in the vicinity of Madison Avenue and South Pearl Street in downtown Albany. The man was treated at the scene by medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he died from his injuries. Officers haven't released his name but say he was from Albany.
